Notice to Recruiters & Staffing Agencies

Column National Association (“Column” or the “Bank”) has an internal recruiting department. From time-to-time, Column may supplement that internal capability by engaging the assistance of temporary staffing agencies, placement services, and professional recruiters of its own choice (“Agency”). Based on the foregoing, temporary staffing agencies, placement services, and professional recruiters not specifically engaged by Column (“Non-Contracted Agency”) are hereby expressly directed NOT to contact Column employees directly in an attempt to present candidates – Column’s recruiting team or other authorized Column personnel must present ALL candidates to hiring managers.

To protect the interests of all parties, Column will not accept unsolicited resumes from any source other than directly from a candidate. Any unsolicited resumes sent to Column, including unsolicited resumes sent to any Column mailing address or email address, directly to Column employees, or to Column’s career site will be considered Column property. Column will NOT pay a fee for any placement resulting from the receipt of an unsolicited resume. Column will consider any candidate for whom any Non-Contracted Agency has submitted an unsolicited resume to have been referred by the Non-Contracted Agency free of any charges or fees.

Any Agency must obtain advance written approval from Column’s People function to submit resumes, and then only in conjunction with a valid fully-executed contract for service and in response to a specific job opening or openings for which the Agency is asked to make submissions. Column will not pay a fee to any Non-Contracted Agency that does not have such agreement in place.

Agency agreements will only be valid if in writing and signed by an officer of Column or his or her designee. No other Column employee is authorized to bind Column to any agreement regarding the placement of candidates by an Agency. Column hereby specifically rejects, and denies any liability under, any agreement purporting to be accepted based on negative consent, negotiation with a candidate, performance, or any means other than the signature of an authorized Column officer.
